Our school celebrated the 150th anniversary of our national song, “Vande Mataram”, with great fervor and patriotism. The special assembly was conducted as planned, with the following activities:
- Significance of Vande Mataram: Ms. Faiza briefed the students about the history and significance of the national song, highlighting its role in India’s struggle for independence.
- Singing of Vande Mataram: Ms. Utkarsha led the students in singing the national song, filling the auditorium with patriotic spirit.
- Quiz: Ms. Shaguftha conducted a quiz on Vande Mataram, testing the students’ knowledge about the song and its significance.
- For Pre-Primary students, Miss Reshma conducted a special activity, explaining the importance of the national flag and introducing them to Vande Mataram in simple words.
- The activities were recorded by Miss Sophia and Miss Sadia, who created a heartwarming video to be posted on the school’s social media platforms.
The celebration instilled patriotism and national pride in the students, reminding them of the significance of Vande Mataram in India’s rich cultural heritage.
