On October 6, 2025, The Star School organized a thought-provoking assembly to commemorate World Wildlife Day, although the actual day is on March 3rd. The event, led by Ms. Najmul and Ms. Faiza, aimed to raise awareness about the importance of wildlife conservation and the role individuals can play in protecting the planet.
Speech Highlights: The assembly began with a speech emphasizing the significance of wildlife conservation, highlighting the theme “Connecting People and Planet: Exploring Digital Innovation in Wildlife Conservation.” The speaker discussed the impact of human activities on wildlife, such as deforestation, pollution, and climate change, and encouraged students to take small steps towards protecting the environment.
Quiz Time: A quiz session followed, testing students’ knowledge about wildlife conservation. The questions covered topics such as World Wildlife Day, India’s national animal, and endangered species. The quiz was engaging and informative, promoting learning through interactive participation.
Role-Play Activity: The highlight of the assembly was a role-play activity where students dressed up as various wildlife characters, including tigers, elephants, and peacocks. Each student delivered a poignant message about conservation, emphasizing the importance of protecting these magnificent creatures and their habitats.
